These two works are from earlier this semester, both from my Interactive Media I class. They revolve around the designs of casual, brand-based and educational online interactive media.
Design Principles: Comparing wedding gown games for women and girls is an essay that compares and contrasts the core design principles in TLC’s “Virtual Bridal Boutique” and Mattel’s Barbie “I can be…Wedding Stylist.” (September 2011)
Redesign: Character creator page of children’s interactive learning site is an essay that analyzes and critiques one element of a children’s interactive learning website–the character creation page–and incorporates a redesign plan including inspiration boards and wireframes. (October 2011)
Currently, a group of peers and I are completing a full design document for an original piece of interactive media, which will be posted within the next couple weeks.
